Mr Snow Mr Men and Little Miss Roger Hargreaves Books Reviews

  • The Little Miss Pocket Library was a bit disappointing. Each book is about 5 pages. They are not stories; more like bios of each character. Not what I was looking for.

To be fair, the books are good quality (very small board books). I just wished there was more to them.
  • Mr. Nosey is horrifying! I instantly returned this book once I was able to read the entire thing. I cannot believe people think this story is okay. I’m pro original Hans Christian Anderson tales, gore and all, but this story is terrible. Cutting off someone’s nose because you think they’re annoying? What lesson is this supposed to teach? That it’s okay to be violent towards people that annoy you?
  • This book (Mr Dizzy) is missing pages (deliberately). The writing has been merged and pictures removed. It seems this kind of thing is also concealed by the fact that reviews are not of individual products. Note, this is not a review of the story, but I don't think that matters as the reviews are all merged anyway.
  • My Son just loves this book! He lost his first one, so this was a replacement. The whole book collection is worth while, I consider the humor just a little more to an adult level, not in a R rated version. Parent's will get a kick out of this book also.
  • Guess what? Little Miss Bossy is BOSSY and everyone is fed up with her bossiness. It is time to teach her a lesson. Who can help do that? Wilfred the Wizard of course with help from one of his books! The next time Little Miss Bossy is bossy, Wilfred is watching her again and whispers something under his breath. What happens? Little Miss Bossy suddenly finds herself wearing a pair of talking shoes and going for a LONG walk!

No matter how rude Little Miss Bossy is or how much she shouts, the shoes stay on her feet and keep her walking! What is the magic word she needs to remember when asking Wilfred the wizard to remove them? Will she have learned her lesson?

A FABULOUS story/lesson for children written in an amusing way that gets the message across!
  • I loved this show when I was little so I was happy to find it for my daughter to watch online. She mentioned that she would like to know more about these characters so It was great to find them on . We always like to buy books for gifts and my daughter squealed when she opened this one so needless to say Im one happy momma. The books are wonderful and they are not the typical kiddie book. Offers more adult language such as instead of saying something was really nice they say it was extraordinary. Maybe not a huge deal when buying a book but I think its a nice plus. Reading kids books is often boring but I also look forward to reading her the mr men books
  • I should have read the details better. These are tiny board books with very little writing. Was trying to get a Miss set to go with my daughters Men. She is 6 and like them, but it's not much ready for her. These are baby books.
  • Imagine if you could sit in bed and with your arm, reach out the door, down the stairs and into the refrigerator to take out a cookie! Mr. Tickle can! In some ways, Mr. Tickle is a nuisance as his long arms get everywhere. Yes it is funny when we tickles the teacher in school but not so funny when he tickles the greengrocer, causing the apples to spill or tickles the station master causing the train to be late.

Mr. Tickle never apologizes, just goes on his way to see who will be his next 'victim'. At the end of the day he goes home and laughs as he remembers who he has tickled.

A good conversation starter to see if you children can see how Mr. Tickle could behave a little better. Nothing wrong with tickling but is it sometimes inappropriate?!
