Revised 2016 Edition Despite the sensational nature of its subject, Lost in Translation Rediscovering the Hebrew Roots of our Faith is written in simple, clear, rational language that relies 100 percent on the Bible as the ultimate authority. The book's authors clear away centuries of confusion surrounding subjects that are seldom addressed in modern sermons and Bible studies. Using the ancient Hebrew language and culture, the authors clarify many of the Bible's so-called "mysteries" and help the reader rediscover many of the foundational truths that have been "lost in translation." Topics include • Who is the Bride of Messiah? • Is there a difference between covenant and testament? • Israel Who are they really? • What is the difference between devils, demons, and nephilim? Join us on an exciting adventure to rediscover the treasures still buried within the pages of The Book that reveal the pathway to the heart of God. "A must-read for the church! Providing foundational insights which lead to a greater understanding of God's master plan, this book will open your eyes to scriptural distortions due to the centuries of Greek influence on the church." - Corey Berti, Senior Pastor, Silver Valley Worship Center, ID "I've been a believer for 12 years, and I've read numerous scriptures that didn't make sense. The authors do a tremendous job of explaining the importance of understanding our Hebrew roots which provide context and clarity to the overall theme of God's message. It's like watching TV in black and white and then suddenly seeing it in color. The truth hasn't changed, but it's meaning becomes more vivid." - Jason Carr

"I have not completed half of the book yet and I am amazed at how much I have already learned. To understand a book originally written in Hebrew really needs you to see its meaning through Hebrew eyes of the time. Later translated into Greek by Hebrews who had been long absent from their former homes and knew and used Greek now, the idiom meanings escaped them. They did a word for word translation losing the cultural meanings.

I highly recommend this series of four books to deepen your understanding and appreciation for this great book God gave us. The meanings are so much richer than I knew."

  • I have not completed half of the book yet and I am amazed at how much I have already learned.

The meanings are so much richer than I knew.
  • This is the first book I have read that approaches the 'end times' from a Hebrew wedding, marriage contract, and covenant perspective. Wake up! If you follow Yeshua (Jesus is His Christian nick name) then you must read this book. I shows the correct view point in which the entire Bible should be read Yeshua was a Jew, His followers were Jews and He came to the Jews first. This book may open your eyes to the way the Bible should be read from a Hebrew perspective. It's an eye opener and not at all heretical. It makes one gain a deeper appreciation, love, and awe for the God of the Universe who will reign from Israel. Definitely read all three volumes and you will know more than most everyday Christians. Bravo to the authors for writing this.
  • What an amazing concept! Who would have ever imagined that our Jewish God with His Jewish disciples living in a Jewish community and a Jewish culture would have a Jewish perspective on things! I say that with sarcasm of course. If anyone does any study on the early church fathers starting around 321 A.D. and forward will find that the church today has around 1500 years of antisemitism built right into it. All things Jewish were kicked out of the church and because of that we Gentile believers have no idea what the bible really means. Oh sure, we have the surface level and salvation figured out but there is oh so much more to this Jewish God we follow! The authors of this book bring a Jewish perspective that is 3500 years old. Everything starts to make sense in a way that will blow your mind. What an amazing book!
  • My husband and I have been seeking out the truth -- of our faith, in the Hebrew Roots studies. This book is soooooooooo deep and wonderful! When we started reading it, we knew we had a cherished book of information. Chapter 3 is about Betrothel, and we fell in love with our Savior even more...

For nearly 2,000 years now, the Christian churches have been operating without ALL OF THE TRUTH, and as a result, there are hundreds of thousands of people who will be sadly disappointed when they stand face to face with our LORD. Why? Because only a portion of the truth has been taught in our modern day churches. Back in 321 A.D. when Constantine duped believers into going away from their Hebrew/Jewish roots, he also sent them headlong into anti-Semitism that resulted in far too many deaths of God's chosen people, the Jews, and many at their own hands, -- if you don't know the details, you'd better brace yourself.

This book, is a fabulous place to start one's journey, in re-discovering what a relationship with our Savior is supposed to be about. There is sooooooooo much more to know that you'll ever be taught in your pews, so get up, get serious and get moving before our JEWISH JESUS comes back to claim His bride!
  • I am still reading this series of 3 volumes. Volume 1 answered a lot of questions I had about covenants in the Bible and gave the key for understanding Revelation in a way I could grasp. Volume 2 was just as excellent, revealing more information about the meanings in Revelation in relation to the Menorah structure and the customs of Temple worship and of the Betrothal and process of the wedding preparation in ancient Hebrew culture that explain many of the events described in Revelation. I am currently reading Volume 3 and finding it just as revealing. The book brings in scripture from throughout the Bible to clarify some of the teaching in Revelation. In the end, I do not know yet whether all of the authors' interpretation is accurate or not. Some of it is very new to me. But it makes sense. I do still have some questions. It certainly spurs me on to read more of the scriptures and to pray for continued learning.
  • This book is hard to put down because (if you're a student of the Bible) of the way your mind will race connecting all the dots where other views leaving gaping holes. The Bible is one book, not an old one and a new one. It all fits together, no part of it is just "throw away", and "all scripture is profitable." I highly recommend this book if you are interested in the truth of scripture even if it goes against the traditions of man.
  • Best book I have ever read. I saw God in a way I had never seen Him before, and I love Him more because of it. As believers in the Messiah, we should all be studying our Jewish roots. We are grafted in, not a separate entity from Judaism. Everyone should read this book.
  • EXCELLENT BOOK WITH MANY EXAMPLES. IT DETAILS THE MIS-TRANSLATIONS FROM HEBREW TO ENGLISH SUGGESTING THE ENGLISH BIBLES ARE TO BE READ WITH QUESTIONS. MANY HEBREW WORDS DO NOT TRANSLATE TO ENGLISH. FOR EXAMPLE IS HESED WHICH INCLUDES A LOT MORE ASPECTS RELATING TO LOVE.
