PDF Electrodynamics Lectures on Theoretical Physics 3 Volume 3 Arnold Sommerfeld Edward G Ramberg Books
"The author starts the discussion with a biographical sketch of E&M's founding fathers, followed by an introduction to several representations and frameworks of the subject where he provides enough reasons to convince the readers that the way he will be representing them is indeed the best way to do it. Throughout the entire book, Sommerfeld covers most of the interesting topics in electrodynamics considered from the perspective of a postgraduate student.
The author assumes minimum pre-knowledge, which means you'll only have to review some basics in Newtonian and Lagrangian mechanics, and elementary vector calculus, and that's all.
The translation is decent and seamless. Other minor things e.g. Fonts, illustration, and formulae are all in good forms.
It is the best textbook I have ever come about, a joyful read in every way."
