• This is one of the best strategy guides I've ever seen. It's well organized and written by people that clearly know and love the game. It doesn't just list the moves and frame data, it gives in-depth strategies and commentary on each character and their playstyle. Outside of the character sections, there is a lot of helpful general-knowledge fighting game information for new players, along with definitions for common fighting game terminology. Everyone should own this.
• I didn't expect much from a fighting game strategy guide, but the authors of this book went all out to include absolutely every bit of minutiae they could possibly cram into this book. Granted, it doesn't include some of the newer tech discovered by hardcore players in more recent months, but if you're looking for a handy, aesthetically-pleasing repository of all information available on Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 at the time of its release, this is the book for you.
